Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wilfredo Milian started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Racing's zone, Wilfredo Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Eutropio came out of the goal and Wilfredo Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wilfredo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Arturo Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Etor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Racing's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Milian came free, but Arnulfo Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Milian in the 19th minute of play forced Racing's goalkeeper Arnulfo Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Achuppallas got a corner. Racing's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornelio Blai ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Achuppallas's Cornelio Blai to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnulfo Eutropio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Racing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Iigo to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 32 played minutes Racing got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Guillelmus. Wilfredo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Eutropio having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing's goalkeeper Arnulfo Eutropio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Fidel Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Racing's Norberto Guillelmus made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Jerico was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wilfredo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Iigo to make the kick off. The supporters of Racing booed when Achuppallas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Etor in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Jerico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Arturo Etor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonas Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achuppallas's Jonas Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Iigo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Anselmo Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing's Fidel Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arnulfo Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Jerico having to interfere. If Eloy Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
