Funes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achiras AFC the free kick. A collision led to Funes FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Benicio Flores hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nestor Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Achiras AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Itzaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Itzaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Giro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Nicasio Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Mincho having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Benicio Flores had to leave the field with a concussion. Fidel Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Itzaina having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Funes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Sansone came free, but Baldomero Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Nicasio Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Achiras AFC's Fidel Gamus got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute Julio Giro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Itzaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Funes FC's Baldomero Itzaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Giro in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Funes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Aritza. In the 44th minute, Nestor Sansone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Itzaina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Sansone's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Sansone to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvio Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fidel Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Giro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Baldomero Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achiras AFC's Fidel Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Teyo in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Achiras AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Gamus. Lucio Cordeara charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Cordeara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute Silvio Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Silvio Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Teyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Natalio Elizardo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funes FC's protests and gave Natalio Elizardo a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Funes FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Elizardo. A hard shot 87 in the game by Julio Giro from a close distance when the talented Baldomero Itzaina managed to make a qualified save. Funes FC's players were relieved. Rosendo Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Funes FC's Rosendo Aritza got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Benito Sustrai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Itzaina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Giro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baldomero Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Sansone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
