Sergio Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Frichoso in the 17th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Mariano Fernanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Travesía AFC and the Rucachoroi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rucachoroi booed when Travesía AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Urtsin came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Rucachoroi's Bartolo Frichoso. But to his dismay, Bartolo Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Maximiliano Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rucachoroi's protests and gave Maximiliano Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rucachoroi getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Maximiliano Rocio hit a great ball. Vladimiro Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Fernanco to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Rucachoroi's Bartolo Frichoso got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sergio Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Travesía AFC's goalkeeper Sergio Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Cai. Sergio Urtsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Dario Palban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Urtsin came out and tried to block the shot, but Dario Palban slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 64th minute. Travesía AFC's Sergio Urtsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Travesía AFC from getting a goal against them. Sergio Urtsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Cai in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, Herminio Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Cai got free with Sergio Urtsin in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Bartolo Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sergio Urtsin managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Rucachoroi's Herminio Cai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rucachoroi played a much better game than Travesía AFC and deserved their victory. The Travesía AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
