If Edgardo Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Aritza having to interfere. The supporters of RACING CLUB booed when Kebnekaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Silvestre Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. RACING CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulino Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Medina in the 16th minute of play. Mateo Eliazar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Silvestre Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Paulino Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Aritza having to interfere. Paulino Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Medina in the 34th minute of the match. Kebnekaise's Paulino Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Medina in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, RACING CLUB's Evaristo Lehoi got control of the ball when Ildefonso Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Dayam in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Kebnekaise's goalkeeper Paulino Aritza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Jurdan. Paulino Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ildefonso Vargas's late challenge caught a RACING CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute Carolo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kebnekaise's zone, Carolo Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Aritza came out of the goal and Carolo Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carolo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Medina in the 73rd minute of the match. Carolo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Aritza having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kebnekaise defense, Silvestre Jurdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Aritza. The Kebnekaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Aritza should have stopped the shot. After 80 minutes, Israel Dayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RACING CLUB and the Kebnekaise players grew even worse after the yellow card. Israel Dayam kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Paulino Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Medina in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st minute, RACING CLUB's Carolo Medina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 94 minutes of play RACING CLUB's Israel Dayam was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Kebnekaise booed when RACING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. RACING CLUB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
