Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pablo Caetano made the kick off and thus started the match. Tiburcio Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Lope having to interfere. Silvio Lope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Caetano's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Pablo Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Caetano scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Lope, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiburcio Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Silvio Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Shepherd hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Silvio Lope came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Jorge Newbery's Pablo Caetano. But to his dismay, Pablo Caetano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 33rd match minute, Rompeculos Fortineros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Chus might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Lope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Chus ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Jorge Newbery's Pablo Caetano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Lope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvio Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Nerio in the 45th minute of play forced Jorge Newbery's goalkeeper Freddy Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Nerio to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvio Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Dacio in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Tiburcio Chus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Silvio Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Lope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Dacio in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Sixto Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Jorge Newbery's Pablo Caetano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Lope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Santiago Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Newbery's Freddy Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ekhi in the 77th minute of play. Freddy Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ekhi in the 78th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Pablo Caetano rounded Rompeculos Fortineros's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Jorge Newbery's Tiburcio Chus got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Jorge Newbery could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rompeculos Fortineros throughout the match.
