Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcial Montay got the match started through his kick off. When Danilo Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Las Palmas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Guzman couldn't finish the play. Danilo Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Orixe having to interfere. Marcelino Santikurtz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Orixe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. When Edgardo Berbiz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Alastuey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Berbiz couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Lázaro Victoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alastuey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Montay came free, but Dario Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Hector Arlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Guzman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ildefonso Orixe made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Alastuey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Montay to maneuver through the defense. Dario Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Micael having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Danilo Guzman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Marcial Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Micael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Montay in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Guzman in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Edgardo Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alastuey's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Berbiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Micael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Montay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Alastuey's Ildefonso Orixe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Guzman in the 90th minute of play. Lázaro Victoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Micael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Victoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Micael having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Las Palmas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alastuey had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
