Adrian Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Azevedo in the 5th minute of the match. If Vinicio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Regis having to interfere. Amancio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Eneas having to interfere. Elpidio Eneas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Mebla por siempre's Epifanio Urdaspal. But to his dismay, Epifanio Urdaspal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vinicio Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Regis having to interfere. Andres Tino hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Galaxy FC's Elpidio Eneas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Bonifaco in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Bonifaco in the 42nd minute of play forced Galaxy FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Alejo Lapurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mebla por siempre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Lapurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Bonifaco to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Epifanio Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mebla por siempre's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Urdaspal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Eneas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Elpidio Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute of the match, Ramiro Bonifaco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elpidio Eneas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 62 minutes into the match, Vinicio Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Regis. Mebla por siempre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Mebla por siempre's Adrian Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Rico in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Amancio Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Amancio Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Galaxy FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
