In the 12th minute, Almafuerte FC's Camilo Harkaitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Almafuerte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Madeo came free, but Eusebio Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Timbocito AFC booed when Almafuerte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Quirze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Leonardo Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almafuerte FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Timbocito AFC's zone, Leonardo Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Raitin came out of the goal and Leonardo Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Timbocito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Cordeara. Jimeno Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Timbocito AFC's goalkeeper Isaias Raitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Blanco. After 40th play minutes Leonardo Blanco shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Isaias Raitin and just under the crossbar into goal. Lino Toli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Harkaitz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Almafuerte FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Camilo Harkaitz hit a great ball. Eusebio Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Toli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almafuerte FC's Eusebio Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Toli in the 67th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Enrique Oskarbi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almafuerte FC and the Timbocito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Raitin having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Timbocito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Toli. Isaias Raitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Blanco in the 76th minute of play forced Timbocito AFC's goalkeeper Isaias Raitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Madeo got free with Eusebio Frans in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Timbocito AFC booed when Almafuerte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Quirze didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Lino Toli took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Eusebio Frans to make any attempt to save it. Leonardo Blanco hit a great ball. Timbocito AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
