In the 3rd minute, Higinio Firman made a precise shot to the right of Julio Euloxu. TheGolden FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Ramon Endura came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Recreo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Endura couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Alfonso Criston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TheGolden FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recreo the free kick. After 13 played minutes TheGolden FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Criston. After a rather tough play, TheGolden FC's Edgardo Enetz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alfonso Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Endura in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Euloxu saved TheGolden FC from getting behind. The supporters of Recreo booed when TheGolden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Recreo's Edgardo Guzman tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alfonso Criston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Enetz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Eulalio Nabar made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Edgardo Enetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheGolden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Enetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Nabar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TheGolden FC's Edgardo Enetz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Nabar having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Recreo's goalkeeper Eulalio Nabar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Flor. After the first half Recreo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alfonso Criston made the kick off in the second half. Ramon Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Euloxu having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Hilario Flor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheGolden FC and the Recreo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes TheGolden FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Flor. TheGolden FC's Julio Euloxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Endura in the 68th minute of play. After 68 played minutes TheGolden FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Criston. When Higinio Firman came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Recreo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Firman couldn't finish the play. If Ramon Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Criston in the 92nd minute of the match. Ramon Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
