Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ambrosio Nerio started the match with the kick off. If Flavio Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Nerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Pulga de la Gente's Javier Baumar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Abadie in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Ernesto Castel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pulga de la Gente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asterix AFC the free kick. When Asterix AFC's Flavio Maura in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Pulga de la Gente's goalie prevented a goal. Ambrosio Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ambrosio Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pulga de la Gente's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Nerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Berbiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ezequiel Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Berbiz made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Paolo Dacio sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Pascual Valente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ezequiel Berbiz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 41st minute, El Pulga de la Gente's Ambrosio Nerio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ezequiel Berbiz. Ezequiel Berbiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ambrosio Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hipolito Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Maura to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, El Pulga de la Gente's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Maura came free, but Javier Baumar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, El Pulga de la Gente's goalkeeper Javier Baumar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Abadie. Flavio Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Javier Baumar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Nerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Berbiz. Asterix AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ambrosio Nerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hipolito Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, El Pulga de la Gente's Israel Steven got a free kick in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, El Pulga de la Gente's Ambrosio Nerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Berbiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Timoteo Quirze hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Pulga de la Gente's zone, Silverio Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Baumar came out of the goal and Silverio Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Pulga de la Gente's Javier Baumar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Maura in the 82nd minute of play. Javier Baumar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 4-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Hipolito Abadie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Flavio Maura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Baumar having to make a save. Silverio Playo's late challenge caught a El Pulga de la Gente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Playo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Asterix AFC's Silverio Playo got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Israel Steven sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Berbiz skillfully saved the ball.
