The ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Flores should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Firmat's Alvaro Benitez got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C's Victorio Basualdo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Roberto Aguirre's late challenge caught a ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Aguirre helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Firmat's Roberto Aguirre got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Firmat's goalkeeper Raimundo Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Espiridion. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Cirilo Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Calvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, German Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Cirilo Brion made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tome came free, but Baltasar Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marco Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Cirilo Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When German Cordareo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Firmat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Cordareo couldn't finish the play. If Marco Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Espiridion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Firmat getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Adrian Velasco hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Firmat's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Brion came free, but Raimundo Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Elpidio Clis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, German Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firmat's supporters rose to their feet, but German Cordareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Firmat players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
