Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Siro Balasi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Fidele in the 12th minute of play forced Tambillos FC's goalkeeper Anier Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Urdin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Atletico granada's Amancio Tulio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tambillos FC. If Apolo Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Elija came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico granada's Siro Balasi. But to his dismay, Siro Balasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 38 played minutes Tambillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Domiku. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Fidele in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Elija prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Checa was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Ramirez charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Ramirez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atletico granada getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Zeledon Ramirez hit a great ball. Florentino Dacio, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Atletico granada's Lisandro Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Checa in the 65th minute of play. Gilberto Osoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Peyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. When Tambillos FC's Apolo Checa in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico granada's goalie prevented a goal. Atletico granada's Adolfo Fidele got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Siro Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tambillos FC were furious when Osvaldo Bazil was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 93rd minute, Osvaldo Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Atletico granada's Amancio Tulio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
