Siro Balasi ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Fidele in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Abancens saved deportivo cucullu from getting behind. Orlando Abancens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Balasi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Orlando Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Adolfo Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Atletico granada's Siro Balasi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Abancens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Orlando Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Siro Balasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Atletico granada a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amancio Tulio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of deportivo cucullu's Orlando Abancens. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Balasi to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Siro Balasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Abancens was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Adolfo Fidele came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Orlando Abancens could save by the left post. Siro Balasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Abancens having to make a save. Siro Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Segio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orlando Abancens came out and tried to block the shot, but Alejandro Segio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind deportivo cucullu's goalkeeper Orlando Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlando Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes, Melchor Garaona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the deportivo cucullu and the Atletico granada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Melchor Garaona kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Atletico granada played a much better game than deportivo cucullu and deserved their victory. The deportivo cucullu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
