The tension between the Honor y Gloria FC and the Florida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Honor y Gloria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Soin to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Osvaldo Artal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Florida FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Clodoveo Jaunzuria hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, one of Florida FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Florida FC. When Desiderio Nofre, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mauro Berart was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Albano Mergildo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Desiderio Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Florida FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Arias was slow to take the kick. During this time Honor y Gloria FC's players had a chance to rest. Arnoldo Paulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Artal to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Honor y Gloria FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lucas Arias hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Ado in the 60th minute of play forced Honor y Gloria FC's goalkeeper Dante Errolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florida FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Honor y Gloria FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Americo Bonadona took the corner. After taking down the ball on Florida FC's corner Americo Bonadona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Errolan quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Florida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Jaunzuria to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Osvaldo Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Nofre came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Berart could save by the left post. If Desiderio Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Artal in the 73rd minute of play. Osvaldo Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Nofre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Honor y Gloria FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Honor y Gloria FC booed when Florida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Nofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mauro Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Desiderio Nofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honor y Gloria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Nofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honor y Gloria FC played a much better game than Florida FC and deserved their victory. The Florida FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
