Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgardo Baldovino made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Norberto Luzea made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Lope. Quetrequile FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Epifanio Jacob blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Birjaio having to make a save. Alfonso Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Epifanio Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alfonso Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Mede might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Lope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Mede ran back to his position shaking his head. Epifanio Jacob was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Quetrequile FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Jose Sabin got free in front of the goal in the 24th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Arturo Lope was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alfonso Birjaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Matteo in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Edgardo Baldovino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Birjaio, 1-1. Norberto Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Retamal booed when Quetrequile FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Urtzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jose Sabin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Lope was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Luzea to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quetrequile FC's Mariano Domeka got a free kick in the 57th minute. Arturo Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Luzea in the 59th minute of the match. Jose Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Lope having to interfere. If Norberto Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Retamal's Alfonso Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Baldovino in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Sabin got free with Arturo Lope in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Luzea in the 91st minute of play. Arturo Lope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Sabin in the 94th minute. Epifanio Jacob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quetrequile FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
