After taking down the ball on Tudcum's corner Sergio Anaya fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fidel Amaya quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Fidel Amaya managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Tudcum's Amancio Gimenez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Aureliano Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Blas Erlantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Amancio Gimenez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fidel Amaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Epifanio Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tudcum's Amancio Gimenez got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gualterio Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Blas Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudcum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Erlantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
