After some careless play in the Piquera Teem defense, Epifanio Jacob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Amaya. The Piquera Teem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Amaya should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Anastasio Nuñez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Lope, 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Quetrequile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Matteo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Anastasio Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquera Teem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Aureliano Remir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quetrequile FC's Arturo Lope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Quetrequile FC booed when Piquera Teem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Venancio Urtzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fidel Amaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raul Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Isidro Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edgardo Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Fidel Amaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Quetrequile FC's Epifanio Jacob got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Piquera Teem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Osorio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Piquera Teem were awarded a corner. Fabricio Aires went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Piquera Teem's Vladimiro Asur getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Edgardo Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Quetrequile FC's Edgardo Baldovino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fidel Amaya. That made the score 2-3 after 97 minutes of play.
