If Leopoldo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Marcos Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Ciano having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Vertientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Hug to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Ciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Austin in the 25th minute of play. Vertientes's Cristobal Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Cordarell in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Alejandro Aguilera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristobal Luix saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Espiridion in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Ciano saved Bondi FC from getting behind. Erubiel Ciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Austin in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Austin was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bondi FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ceferino Ferrando hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Espiridion got free with Erubiel Ciano in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Vertientes defense, Alejandro Aguilera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Luix. The Vertientes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Luix should have stopped the shot. Cristobal Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Leopoldo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Erubiel Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Vertientes got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Hug. Cristobal Luix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Estavan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Generoso Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vertientes's zone, Arnoldo Estavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Luix came out of the goal and Arnoldo Estavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Arnoldo Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Generoso Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vertientes's Cristobal Luix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Bondi FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Ciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Espiridion. In the 91st match minute, Vertientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Luix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Cordarell in the 92nd minute of the match. Erubiel Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Florencio Eudoxio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Vertientes played a much better game than Bondi FC and deserved their victory. The Bondi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
