Melquiades Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Melquiades Isidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Segio in the 8th minute of the match. Victorino Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Isidor having to interfere. Jonas Pirro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Salazar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 14 minutes, Ignacio Rodriguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacuara AFC and the Salazar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Salazar booed when Tacuara AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Rosendo Geleberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Geleberto in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Gaueko saved Salazar from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Tacuara AFC's Gaspar Ebardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonzalo Gaueko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tacuara AFC's Melquiades Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Segio in the 31st minute of play. Hilario Kaxen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jonas Pirro could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Melquiades Isidor however easily saved by the left post. Victorino Segio took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Isidor. Melquiades Isidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Geleberto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Rosendo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Gaueko came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuara AFC's Gaspar Ebardo. But to his dismay, Gaspar Ebardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rosendo Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Gaueko having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Ebardo got free with Gonzalo Gaueko in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rosendo Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Tacuara AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Geleberto couldn't finish the play. If Gaspar Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Pirro in the 79th minute of play. Pedro Ponce hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jonas Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gonzalo Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Isidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Pirro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
