The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vashington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salazar the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Vashington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. If Ulises Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vashington's Alfonso Urko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Vashington from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorio Gaizkine scored 0-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Urko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Victorino Segio took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Alfonso Urko to make any attempt to save it. Victorino Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Urko having to interfere. The Vashington supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salazar's performance. The match ended with a win for Salazar.
