Haroldo Panfilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tridy's zone, Aldo Peruxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Panfilo came out of the goal and Aldo Peruxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Peruxu got free with Haroldo Panfilo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fermin Gau sped through Cuervos de Boedo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Romero. After having played for 44 minutes, Aldo Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervos de Boedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Peruxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Tridy got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Quintin. If Godofredo Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Fermin Gau made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Aldo Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tridy's Haroldo Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Suarez in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Godofredo Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tridy's Haroldo Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Suarez in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Tridy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Quintin to maneuver through the defense. If Godofredo Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Gau in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Lázaro Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salvador Romero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Tridy getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cristobal Paskal hit a great ball. Godofredo Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Gau in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Fermin Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Godofredo Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuervos de Boedo's protests and gave Godofredo Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. Fermin Gau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cuervos de Boedo's Godofredo Lizbeth got a free kick in the 86th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Freddy Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tridy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
