Pozuelos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arauca FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Pozuelos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Luken. After 5 minutes, Fabricio Ostargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arauca FC and the Pozuelos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabricio Ostargi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 7th play minutes Serafino Ramirez shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Guido Urti and just under the crossbar into goal. Fabricio Urko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Juan Txartiko made a huge save. If Fernan Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Urti having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fabricio Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arauca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Urko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Txartiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Guido Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Guido Urti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafino Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Urti having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Guido Urti managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Pozuelos AFC's Fernan Aguirre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juan Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Urko in the 55th minute of play. Rodolfo Milio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Txartiko having to interfere. If Fabricio Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Aguirre got free with Guido Urti in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Guido Urti throw himself and got hold of the ball when Serafino Ramirez in the 65thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Fernan Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pozuelos AFC's Camilo Aguilera shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guido Urti but with some difficulty. A collision led to Arauca FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Lucas Argider hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Fernan Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pozuelos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Aguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lucas Argider fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arauca FC's protests and gave Lucas Argider a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute of the match Pozuelos AFC got a corner. Arauca FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Camilo Aguilera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Camilo Aguilera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arauca FC's Guido Urti did a great save. Fabricio Ostargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Txartiko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Serafino Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Guido Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozuelos AFC. The Pozuelos AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pozuelos AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
