Leo Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Dunixi having to interfere. When Benito Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Leoni AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Mitxel couldn't finish the play. Salvador Eusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Evaristo Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Mitxel in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Dunixi saved Ferri from getting behind. Raul Dunixi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Raul Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Mitxel in the 44th minute of play. If Antonio Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Benito Mitxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leoni AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Mitxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Dunixi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ferri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leoni AFC were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Eusko to strike the kick off in the second half. Leo Padro hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Benito Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raul Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Lopes in the 60th minute of play forced Leoni AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cornelio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Leo Padro fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leoni AFC's protests and gave Leo Padro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Leoni AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leo Padro hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Ferri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benito Mitxel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Raul Dunixi managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Leoni AFC's Benito Mitxel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 93 minutes into the game, Leoni AFC's Leo Padro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Dunixi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Leoni AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
