Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorocayense's goalkeeper Tadeo Sedeni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogelio Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Sorocayense got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Napier. Sorocayense's Tadeo Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sorocayense from getting a goal against them. Igor Martxelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nemesio Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Suero having to interfere. Bruno Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes Tiburón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nemesio Napier who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nemesio Napier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tiburón's Bruno Suero did a great save. Arnaldo Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Sedeni having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Velasco to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Elpidio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tiburón's Elpidio Velasco in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorocayense's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Sorocayense's Nemesio Napier got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nemesio Napier hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sorocayense getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nemesio Napier hit a great ball. Tiburón's Carmelo Tartalo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sorocayense. Arnaldo Fonda struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tadeo Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiburón. If Elpidio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Martxelin's late challenge caught a Tiburón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Martxelin helped the player get up and apologised.
