Rolando Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. But to his dismay, Leonardo Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Niedo's Jaime Perez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rene Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Anselmo Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Niedo and the Fernández players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Niedo got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Playo. Leonardo Hever in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Matia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fermin Playo was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 81st match minute, Niedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Playo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Rene Rumaldo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anselmo Matia, passed just outside the right post. Anselmo Matia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rene Rumaldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. If Rene Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Matia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fernández walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
