The referee ignored Thames's protests and gave Jairo Hustaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute Leonardo Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Justin during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Thames got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Justin. Luisito Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Goiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Villada's Alonzo Tebaldo got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Feliciano Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisito Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Goiz in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Thames was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Justin to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Igon, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albano Millrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Rameriz went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thames's Albano Millrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Abechuco in the 84th minute of play. Rosendo Abechuco hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Villada's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Goiz came free, but Luisito Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
