Nestor Paulin struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Anastasio Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulares FC. Damian Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Paulin to make the kick off. Pincha de Caseros AC's Basilio Txordon got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Leonel Umbruso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damian Vellito. The goal made the score 0-3. When Bernabe Bidun came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pincha de Caseros AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Bidun couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Pulares FC's Damian Vellito got control of the ball when Ruben Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonel Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vellito having to interfere. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Ruben Lopez sped through Pulares FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Vellito. The supporters of Pincha de Caseros AC booed when Pulares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Pincha de Caseros AC's Leonel Umbruso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Vellito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Pulares FC's zone, Leonel Umbruso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience was convinced that Leonel Umbruso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Vellito was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Pincha de Caseros AC played a much better game than Pulares FC and deserved their victory. The Pulares FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
