In the 5th minute Flavio Vincent suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 5 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Dodorol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Piojos F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Marini's Ildefonso Dodorol got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hugo Tebaldo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gabriel Cordarryl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Piojos F.C.. In the 20th minute, Silverio Palben made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Venceslao. Los Piojos F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Marini's goalkeeper Gabriel Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Tebaldo. In the 28th minute, Arnaldo Marz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Cordarryl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 31st minute, Dionisio Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Los Piojos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Marz to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Maximino Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Venceslao having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Silverio Palben left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Aldo Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Silverio Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Venceslao having to interfere. The supporters of Los Piojos F.C. booed when Marini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marini's Gabriel Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Ixidor in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aldo Tajo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geronimo Venceslao. That made the score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Marini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Oriol to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Los Piojos F.C.'s Cristobal Ixidor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Tajo in the 89th minute of play forced Los Piojos F.C.'s goalkeeper Geronimo Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gabriel Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
