Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arnoldo Silvanito made the kick off which started today's match. Arnoldo Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Acosta having to interfere. Astor Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zeledon Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Caitano hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Fabricio Montez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Vistalba AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Gorbea came free, but Zeledon Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vistalba AFC's zone, Astor Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Acosta came out of the goal and Astor Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 25th minute, but Zeledon Acosta got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Vistalba AFC hanging dry this time. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnoldo Silvanito in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Acosta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astor Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Gorbea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zeledon Acosta made a huge save. After 33 played minutes Vistalba AFC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Caitano. Astor Gorbea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Zeledon Acosta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bernabe Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Belmiro having to interfere. When Hoyón's Astor Gorbea in 45 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Zeledon Acosta guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Astor Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zeledon Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Damario to make the kick off. Vistalba AFC's Zeledon Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Montes in the 51st minute of play. Hoyón's Candido Belmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Hoyón from getting a goal against them. When Dionisio Atarratze fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vistalba AFC's protests and gave Dionisio Atarratze a yellow card for diving instead. Zeledon Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Montes in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Gorbea in the 76th minute of play forced Vistalba AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Montes in the 79th minute of play. Astor Gorbea struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Zeledon Acosta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoyón. Bernabe Damario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Montez kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Pablo Frederico fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoyón's protests and gave Pablo Frederico a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Hoyón got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Frederico. In the 88th minute Arnoldo Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Astor Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoyón's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Acosta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
