The tension between the Vistalba AFC and the Mogna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vistalba AFC's Dionisio Atarratze got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Marco Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Atarratze hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Marco Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mogna booed when Vistalba AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee ignored Mogna's protests and gave Hernan Phelipe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vistalba AFC booed when Mogna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Phelipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Omar Ordono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Acosta was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Hernan Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Zeledon Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Phelipe scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Acosta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Vistalba AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mogna were winning 0-2.

Zeledon Acosta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Ordono in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Acosta saved Vistalba AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Ordono in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Acosta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zeledon Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Ordono was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Mogna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Omar Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Zeledon Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Marco Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogna's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Acosta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Vistalba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Acosta stood somewhat misplaced when Omar Ordono came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 96 minute.
