The referee gave Boca Juniors C.D.S. a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victoriano Monte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Boca Juniors's Edgard Donzel. 0-2. Amadeo Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Amadeo Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Boca Juniors C.D.S. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Abechuco was the one to do the kick off. Amadeo Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Mambru in the 54th minute of the match.
