Albino Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ubaldo Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albino Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Diaz in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Pelagius saved C. A. Longchamps from getting behind. The supporters of Coliqueo booed when C. A. Longchamps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Florentino Oskitz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C. A. Longchamps's Ubaldo Pelagius. Ubaldo Pelagius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Florentino Oskitz came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Coliqueo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Oskitz couldn't finish the play. C. A. Longchamps's Ubaldo Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Oskitz in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Venceslao in the 46th minute of play forced C. A. Longchamps's goalkeeper Ubaldo Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Oskitz made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Albino Venceslao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Longchamps's zone, Albino Venceslao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Pelagius came out of the goal and Albino Venceslao tried to chip the ball over his head. Ubaldo Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, C. A. Longchamps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Transito to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a little luck, C. A. Longchamps's Ubaldo Pelagius got control of the ball when Albino Venceslao tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Albino Venceslao's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Ubaldo Pelagius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Longchamps's zone, Florentino Oskitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Pelagius came out of the goal and Florentino Oskitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to C. A. Longchamps getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cesar Goyo hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Florentino Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Melquiades Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Pelagius was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Coliqueo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. A. Longchamps throughout the match.
