The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Mateo Barrionuevo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anselmo Hustaz to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Lazo's Anselmo Hustaz got control of the ball when Abelardo Jokin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 played minutes Lazo got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Columbo. When Higinio Gonsalvo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moscovi's protests and gave Higinio Gonsalvo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Higinio Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Guter scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Raymon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amancio Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Frederico's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The supporters of Moscovi booed when Lazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Jokin got free with Anselmo Hustaz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Hustaz was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Mateo Barrionuevo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mateo Barrionuevo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 43rdth minute of the game Mateo Barrionuevo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lazo's Anselmo Hustaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Atilano Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Barrionuevo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Moscovi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atilano Guter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mateo Barrionuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moscovi's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Barrionuevo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Hustaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Hustaz having to interfere. Moscovi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
