Generoso Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Gualeguaychú AFC booed when Cerrito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Gilesindo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24thth minute of the game Romulo Millano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gualeguaychú AFC's Raul Hustaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Millano in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Hustaz saved Gualeguaychú AFC from getting behind. Raimundo Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Generoso Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Gualeguaychú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Muno. Raul Hustaz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Leonides Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Cesario struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romulo Millano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd match minute, Gualeguaychú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Behe to maneuver through the defense. When Eustacio Iyan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cerrito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Iyan couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Romulo Millano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Gilesindo in the 73rd minute of play forced Cerrito AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Antonio Prejun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romulo Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Gilesindo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Ramirez saved Cerrito AFC from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gualeguaychú AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
