Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angel Sandaili started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Galindo got free with Freddy Abaunza in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Camilo Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Camilo Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Sandaili in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the U.A.S.I defense, Braulio Maiorga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Hartz. The U.A.S.I fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Hartz should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Florentino Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Tello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Hartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in U.A.S.I's zone, Adrian Tello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Hartz came out of the goal and Adrian Tello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Adrian Tello came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Barcala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Tello couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Adrian Tello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Hartz. U.A.S.I's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Tello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Braulio Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Camilo Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Tello came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Hartz could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in U.A.S.I's zone, Braulio Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Hartz came out of the goal and Braulio Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Maiorga in the 68th minute of play forced U.A.S.I's goalkeeper Camilo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Nicanor Rodriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U.A.S.I's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcala FC the free kick. After 69 played minutes U.A.S.I got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Rodriguez. In the 75th match minute, U.A.S.I was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Barcala FC booed when U.A.S.I was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Maiorga in the 84th minute of play forced U.A.S.I's goalkeeper Camilo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bonifacio Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Freddy Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bonifacio Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Abaunza having to interfere. The U.A.S.I fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barcala FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
