The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Santo Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churcal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Bizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Churcal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Enol came free, but Antonio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Flavio Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Huascán AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Churcal FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Damaso Karlo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Huascán AFC's Enzo Bizen. 0-1. Santo Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Enzo Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Francis in the 28th minute of play forced Huascán AFC's goalkeeper Enzo Bizen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Enol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Pello having to make a save. Astor Gorka might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Pello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Gorka ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Antonio Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Churcal FC booed when Huascán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Pello having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Nisio was the one to do the kick off. When Astor Gorka came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Huascán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Gorka couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Churcal FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ildefonso Velasco hit a great ball. Antonio Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Enol in the 66th minute of play. Antonio Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Huascán AFC's zone, Saul Nisio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Bizen came out of the goal and Saul Nisio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Churcal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Gorka came free, but Antonio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Enzo Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Churcal FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
