The referee ignored Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's protests and gave Epifanio Vito a yellow card for diving instead. Epifanio Vito hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's Epifanio Vito was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 6th minute, Epifanio Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's zone, Erubiel Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Giro came out of the goal and Erubiel Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Pablo Tuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Nicanor Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes Deportivo Carlos Bilardo got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Tiniebra. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Salomone was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Clemente Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Tiniebra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Cuarto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Tiniebra in the 57th minute of the match. Elias Salomone struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Everardo Giro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andino. Nicanor Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Cuarto having to interfere. Pablo Tuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's Celedonio Bixintxo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 74th minute, Elias Salomone fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Everardo Giro, passed just outside the right post. 75 minutes into the match, Pascual Jaen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Giro. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Jaen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elias Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Everardo Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Tuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Cuarto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Pablo Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Tuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Cuarto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andino's Elias Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's Pablo Tuste got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Deportivo Carlos Bilardo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Andino's performance. The match ended with a win for Andino.
