The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Bokita got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Diegotxe. Alonzo Pirro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Everardo Giro made a huge save. Ciro Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Fernandes in the 12th minute of play. Pablo Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ciro Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bokita's Ciro Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Tuste in the 20th minute of play. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's Everardo Giro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Carlos Bilardo from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Felix Arias from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Everardo Giro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Deportivo Carlos Bilardo's Nicanor Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
