Tiburcio Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Salvadores short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Cecilio Abar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Siro Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Raimundo Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Jose Quinton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cecilio Abar. Jose Quinton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Raimundo Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cecilio Abar made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Miguel Salvadore sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pocitos FC's Jairo Lleir got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pocitos FC's zone, Miguel Salvadore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Abar came out of the goal and Miguel Salvadore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Salvadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Abar having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Victoriano Mitxel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Jurgi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Abar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sebastian Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocitos FC's protests and gave Sebastian Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Sebastian Jorrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pocitos FC's Cecilio Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Salvadore in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Victoriano Mitxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Mitxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Jurgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Nuñez charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Nuñez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Miguel Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Miguel Salvadore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Abar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Quinton in the 72nd minute of play forced Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Abar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute Jose Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Nuñez hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
