El Gigante Rosarino's Maximo Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Silvino's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The supporters of El Gigante Rosarino booed when Lazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Jesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute El Gigante Rosarino were awarded a corner. Edgardo Gitano went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jesus Asur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benigno Arias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Illart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Hilario Handi made a huge save. Maximo Silvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Julio Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lazo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Illart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Handi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Godofredo Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Caton hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Godofredo Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, El Gigante Rosarino's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Kaxen came free, but Hilario Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Kaxen was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lazo FC's Julio Illart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Handi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Lazo FC's goalkeeper Benigno Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Orlanda. Hilario Handi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Illart's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Julio Illart came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lazo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Illart couldn't finish the play. Godofredo Kaxen took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Handi. Hilario Handi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 77 minutes into the game, Lazo FC's Godofredo Kaxen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Handi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Isidro Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Maximo Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Benigno Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Gigante Rosarino's Maximo Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Julio Illart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Handi. El Gigante Rosarino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Illart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Lazo FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
