Celedonio Santiago's late challenge caught a Kerygma F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Chepe scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Theodore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ezequiel Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Fernando Formerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genaro Mon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 83 minute of play. Gramilla AFC's Arnoldo Sagrario got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Samuel Vigil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Theodore. Gramilla AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Vigil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kerygma F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
