If Benigno Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Ariando having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Benigno Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Frontera FC's Benigno Quirce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Ariando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Romeo Ler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Candido Ostargi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. Benigno Quirce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Atilano Iago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Eladio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Benigno Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Quirce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Ariando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benigno Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Romeo Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Candido Ostargi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Quilino in the 56th minute of play forced Frontera FC's goalkeeper Romeo Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Frontera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Ostargi came free, but Romeo Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Genaro Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Mitre.CF.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Quilino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Ler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Quilino's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When Joaquin Eate came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Villa Mitre.CF. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Eate couldn't finish the play. Romeo Ler came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Mitre.CF.'s Genaro Quilino. But to his dismay, Genaro Quilino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Frontera FC booed when Villa Mitre.CF. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Genaro Quilino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Ler having to make a save. A collision led to Frontera FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rigoberto Lleir hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Villa Mitre.CF.'s Nicasio Ostargi in action when he in the 86th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Villa Mitre.CF.'s Genaro Quilino got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villa Mitre.CF.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
