Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Lidon started the match with the kick off. Efrain Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Guifre during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Verón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Guifre to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes, Rulais FC's Patricio Erdiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Galoer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rulais FC reached it. Mariano Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Vachon in the 26th minute of play forced Rulais FC's goalkeeper Patricio Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Efrain Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Iraitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Lidon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Patricio Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Patricio Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Verón FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Lucas Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Rulais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Rosio couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Verón FC defense, Dario Cucao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Galoer. The Verón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Galoer should have stopped the shot. Justino Foro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Galoer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Verón FC's Efrain Vachon got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Efrain Vachon notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Rulais FC's Patricio Iraitz. Patricio Iraitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lucas Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Fidencio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Fidencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Lucas Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rulais FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dario Cucao hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Dario Cucao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rulais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verón FC the free kick. After 94 played minutes Rulais FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Cucao. Patricio Iraitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Vachon in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Rulais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Tello to maneuver through the defense. The Rulais FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Verón FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Verón FC.
