In the 11th minute Gregorio Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the 7a0 futbol club defense, Gregorio Raymon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Nalo. The 7a0 futbol club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Nalo should have stopped the shot. If Esteban Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. General Paz's Maximino Gagriel got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Donato Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Nalo. 7a0 futbol club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, 7a0 futbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Karmel came free, but Humberto Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Esteban Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 7a0 futbol club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Katia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Tancredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Bermudez in the 37th minute. Silverio Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Katia in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Karmel was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Gregorio Raymon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, C. A. General Paz's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Bermudez came free, but Silverio Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Karmel in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Nalo saved 7a0 futbol club from getting behind. Humberto Nalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregorio Raymon in the 69th minute. Pastor Karmel's late challenge caught a 7a0 futbol club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Karmel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, C. A. General Paz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Karmel to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Raymon got free with Humberto Nalo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Nalo having to interfere. If Cesar Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Esteban Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes 7a0 futbol club got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Hermelando. Pastor Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The C. A. General Paz players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
