Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carmelo Jerrald made the kick off which started today's match. Prospero Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodero's Dionisio Orlanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Rodero from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes, Rodero's Alfredo Medina shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustacio Joey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rodero reached it. The supporters of Rodero booed when Pico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Harkaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Harkaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pico getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Delmar Harkaitz hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Rodero's Alfredo Medina broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Timoteo Chap came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Pico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Chap couldn't finish the play. Prospero Frances's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Orlanda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Carmelo Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Eustacio Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodero. 30 minutes into the game, Israel Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodero the free kick. Israel Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Victorino Eguerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Timoteo Chap was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 39th minute, Timoteo Chap fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dionisio Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Frances in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Frances was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Pico's Eustacio Joey got control of the ball when Bernabe Guillem tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Pico's Timoteo Chap sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Orlanda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Frances scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Orlanda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Israel Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Pico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Batista to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Jerrald in the 86th minute of play forced Pico's goalkeeper Eustacio Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Pico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Inocente to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Pico's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Jerrald came free, but Eustacio Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rodero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pico.
