Ermegildo Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, San Martín City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Liher to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Henric having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Anastasio Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martín City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Aldo Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martín City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicanor Quin came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Villeros Xeneizes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Quin couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, San Martín City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Orlandus to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Prudencio Normando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marco Rafel. San Martín City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Nicanor Quin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villeros Xeneizes's Rogelio Ariando got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Nicanor Quin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Rafel. The San Martín City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villeros Xeneizes were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Rafel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Quin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Nicanor Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Ariando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Marco Rafel made a huge save. San Martín City's Marco Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Quin in the 68th minute of play. If Nicanor Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 73 in the game by Rogelio Ariando from a close distance when the talented Marco Rafel managed to make a qualified save. San Martín City's players were relieved. After 73 minutes, Rogelio Ariando made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. San Martín City's Marco Rafel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Dimo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Henric was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Aldo Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rogelio Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Ariando got free with Marco Rafel in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fidel Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Ihazintu in the 92nd minute of play. Anastasio Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Henric having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Dimo in the 95th minute of play forced Villeros Xeneizes's goalkeeper Fidel Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Anacleto Jurgi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villeros Xeneizes's Fidel Henric did a great save. The San Martín City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Villeros Xeneizes's performance. The match ended with a win for Villeros Xeneizes.
