The supporters of Calmucó booed when Maquinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Iliana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Natal in the 12th minute of the match. Maquinas's Celestino Iliana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Natal in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
54 minutes into the match, Calmucó's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Belarmo came free, but Higinio Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Perrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Celestino Iliana made a huge save. Higinio Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquinas. Maquinas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
