Melquiades Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Arotza got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nereo Torres handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Quintun in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Generoso Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antilla's Nereo Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Arotza in the 20th minute of play. Nereo Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Quintun's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to The golds getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cristian Mikolas hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, The golds's goalkeeper Luisito Cresencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Fix. 36 minutes into the game, Generoso Quintun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nereo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the game, The golds's Tadeo Arotza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Cresencio made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Eleuterio Fix sent off a good shot on target. After the first half The golds were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in The golds's zone, Eugenio Urbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The crowd rose to their feet as The golds's Tadeo Arotza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Torres. That made the score 0-3 after 79 minutes of play. Higinio Rojelio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Rojelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Antilla's zone, Tadeo Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Torres came out of the goal and Tadeo Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Tadeo Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The golds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Arotza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eugenio Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Urbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Cresencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
