Mauro Gabirel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Hunfredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Mauro Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Isidoro Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niedo AFC's Ruperto Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Oliviero in the 45th minute of play. Israel Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The supporters of Niedo AFC booed when belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Gabirel in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Hunfredo saved belgrano from getting behind. Mauro Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Hunfredo having to interfere. Ruperto Lalla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Victor Bartuelo. Mauro Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Isidoro Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
