Ricardo Claris hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Natalio Ortzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Merexildo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Cesar Hermon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Merexildo in the 20th minute of play forced LOS COME GORDA's goalkeeper Natalio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales FC's zone, Lisandro Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Bide came out of the goal and Lisandro Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Solustiano in the 37th minute of the match. Elvio Sedeni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manantiales FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Sedeni got free with Victorino Bide in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

55 minutes into the match, Elvio Sedeni notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Manantiales FC's Victorino Bide. Victorino Bide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Clemencin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Ortzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Clemencin ran back to his position shaking his head. Cesar Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Natalio Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manantiales FC's Ciriaco Enaut suffered a concussion after 60 minutes and had to leave the field. After 60 minutes, Gerardo Playo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS COME GORDA and the Manantiales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, LOS COME GORDA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Playo to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Manantiales FC's Carlos Clemencin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Ortzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Manantiales FC's Carlos Clemencin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 71st minute of the match Jaime Corderun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Bide skillfully saved the ball. If Lisandro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Bide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Clemencin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Elvio Sedeni managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS COME GORDA's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Sedeni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Bide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Claudiu Uncescu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the LOS COME GORDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Uncescu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Manantiales FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Antonio Iztal hit a great ball. When LOS COME GORDA's Elvio Sedeni in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manantiales FC's goalie prevented a goal. LOS COME GORDA's Claudiu Uncescu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
